A very recent purchase at a bargain price, Henry Hyde's Wargaming Campaigns, which is currently on offer at Pen & Sword (please note I am not affiliated with either Mr Hyde or his publisher!)

The book looks splendid and I'm looking forward to getting a read of it at the weekend (fingers crossed): No spoilers please.

ohhh now that looks interesting.
ReplyDeleteYour fans demand a Hyborian campaign ;)
Cheers. Like many others, the thought of an Hyborian Campaign has been on the list since the first reading of Donald Featherstone's War Games!
DeleteHalf off is definitely a bargain!
ReplyDeleteIndeed. With a 50% reduction I had run out of excuses!
DeleteThat should keep you busy!
ReplyDelete😊 Absolutely. Not like I've got anything else to do...
DeleteThanks for flagging this up. I've now ordered a copy myself.Like you said to Jon, with 50% off I don't have an excuse!
ReplyDeleteIt would have been rude not to!
DeleteKnowing Henry Hyde's work, I was in no doubt that it would be a good investment.
It is a rather weighty book though - so not something you can comfortably hold in your hands for any length of time. I’m sure, however, that you’ll enjoy it 📖📕📚 😊
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Geoff
At 528 pages it's a mighty tome that I've started reading at the dining room table! However it's about 100 less pages than Henry Hyde's Wargaming Compendium that is another good read
