Good to see them ready for action. I should mention that I got the Guards from the wargamehermit a few years ago. (hmm don't seem allowed to include a link mm...)
Something about the paint job and pose reminded of the old display cabinets full of figures in my local toy shop way back when I had to be lifted up to see them. They are really nicely done.

It's a small world after all! So I have Wargamehermit to thank as well. More to follow from the Guards as I complete more of them.

ReplyDeleteCheers Mr Sprinks. Some of the figures were already painted and just needed a touch here and there plus a coat of varnish.
DeleteI dunno. The troops look present and ready for duty.
ReplyDeleteThat's true! Hopefully get them involved in a game one day..
DeleteThey are very nice. Looking forward to see them in action. Cheers, Karl

DeleteFine figures MJT fine figures beautifully glossy painted these vintage Airfix, they are like tiny Wm. Britain's.
ReplyDeleteThat's the look I like best! I thought that you would appreciate 12 Toy Soldiers.
DeleteI'm sure the Brontes would appreciate 12 too!
DeleteI'd like to think so!
DeleteThese remindmeso much of all the boxes of the old Airfix Colour Party that I had many moons ago.
