  2. I'm going to try as hard as I can to not see the possibilities for my little plastic fantasy game in a box. I'd need to buy another box of Ancient Britains for starters and.....

  3. When I was a kid I bought an Airfix catalog from the only hobby shop in town. I wanted to get the castle set with the Sheriff of Nottingham and Robin hood sets, along with the Roman fort and set up two Kingdoms. I never realized I could have asked the owner to special order the sets I wanted.

  5. I remember as a mere youth (10-12 years old, maybe?) getting 14 boxes of Airfix troops for Christmas, mostly WW2. Goodness only knows where they are now. Those were they days 😊

    1. Thanks John, I was hoping it looked a bit Late 1960s (Featherstone or Wise type image). The B&W does help to cover up the quality of the painting!!
